My name is Lauren and I have just started my exciting journey at The Grove Primary School. I feel so lucky to be part of this wonderful team. Early Years has always been a great passion of mine and it is where I have spent the majority of my career.
I believe that Early Years is where the magic happens and I am so excited to be teaching Reception at The Grove. My favourite things to teach are phonics, writing, Understanding of The World and all aspects of outdoor learning! I love to make learning fun and engaging children through ‘magical moment’s’.
When I am not teaching, I love to spend my time with family and friends! I also enjoy going on long walks with my dogs Harry and Dexter as well as going to the gym. I love to be outdoors so I love to go camping and hiking at The Lake District with my family. I really love Chinese and Thai food as well as chocolate and diet coke!
