???Have you heard of the Mission Christmas appeal by Metro Radio? ???
It’s a heart-breaking thought, but for some families Christmas is a luxury they just can’t afford. We wanted to make sure that they get a visit from Santa this Christmas. This morning 4 of our Year 6 pupils visited B&M in Consett and filled a trolley with toys which they donated to the appeal on behalf of all the children at The Grove Primary School. All toys purchased will go to children less fortunate than ourselves this Christmas. We would like to say a huge thank you to Stuart Hastings from Jim Hastings LTD who supported the school to be able to do this.
